In a momentous event for our glassblowing studio, Stuart Wiltshire had the honour of crafting a bespoke glass piece for Queen Camilla and King Charles.

This remarkable creation, known as the Vortex Sculpture, is a hand-blown glass sculpture that captures the mesmerizing energy of a swirling vortex.

Sculpting for royalty required extraordinary skill, as Stuart shaped molten glass into a dynamic, intricate design that embodies both elegance and movement.

Each Vortex Sculpture is a testament to the artistry of glassblowing, showcasing our dedication to high-quality craftsmanship in every piece. The piece quickly became a signature design, inspiring other unique hand-blown glass sculptures in our collection.

Here at Stuart Wiltshire Glass, we rose to local fame through the offering of our Glassblowing Experiences and classes.

Within these classes, we would take members of the public and turn them into master glass blowers within the hour, allowing them to sculpt their very own glass blown sculptures.

Although we no longer offer glass sculpture classes, you are still able to come in-store and view us at work in our Weymouth studio.

Our range of glass sculpture centrepieces are market leaders, with our innovative designs designed by our very own glass sculpture artist, Stuart Wiltshire.

The understanding of how to make glass sculptures, comes from vast experience and a deep understanding of many different glass sculpting techniques.

The development of the understanding and skills involved in glass blowing sculptures, allows for the creativity and imagination to come into play, without the limits of technical skill.

This freedom allows Stuart to produce these famous glass sculptures, without a team of glass blowers around him. Instead he is able to visualise the process of how to make a glass sculpture, and then begin producing the design straight away from the first gather of glass.
