Our at home casting kit allows you to create a stunning hand cast in the comfort of your own home. You will then ship us the cast and we will use this to create the final glass hand cast.

All our kits come with basic instructions on how to create the cast.

Please note our At Home Casting Kits do not come with a return label.
Due to the variance in size and weight of all customers casting, we would need to cover the largest sizes with the returns label, which would drastically improve the price of the service.
Instead to be a much more cost effective service you will need to arrange your own delivery of the hand cast made in your home.

How it works on the day

When you come in-store to complete the glass casting experience, below is how the experience will look.

You make an impression

When you arrive in-studio or when we receive the completed at home casting kit, we will first make an impression in our specialist sand.

We cast the glass into the mould

Once we have the impression in the sand, we will cast molten glass into the impression. We will then place the cast in our oven to cool overnight.

We ship to you the next day

The next day once the glass has cooled overnight we will ship the cast to you in the post, or you can come in studio and collect.

How do I redeem the voucher?

Once purchased, you (or the recipient) can contact us to book time to come into our Weymouth studio. During the visit, the print will be taken and the glass piece will be created by hand shortly after.

Can I gift the voucher to someone else?

Yes! These vouchers make thoughtful and meaningful gifts. Whether it's for a birthday, new arrival, or a memorial, they offer a unique and personal way to honour moments in time.

Can I take the print home the same day?

Unfortunately no. This is because the glass needs to cool down from 1100°C to room temperature overnight. The next day you can collect the print, or we can ship it to you.

Only two downsides are the choice of what to put the ashes in for the ash kit. Which when delivered was a resealable plastic bag which when returned was in another plastic bag with the original having a hole in it...

Technically not their fault but DHL next day wasn't exactly next day. For anyone ordering (although I doubt people would be in a rush to get the ashes/statue back) give it a couple days for delivery, maximum.

Beautiful beyond words

So, so beautiful! We chose this for a keepsake of our two cocker spaniels Ollie & Maisie who both loved the sea, their happy place! The craftsmanship in getting the variety of blue colours mixed with their ashes ascending to the crest of the wave is just incredible. We love it that they are both reunited being carried in the wave, knowing the joy and excitement the sea held for them. So many happy memories are held in this keepsake piece; tears of happiness and heartache at their loss too unwrapping it, but the weight and quality of this piece is a fitting way to cherish them. A piece of my heart.

When my Husband died suddenly last year, there were a couple of memory pieces I knew I wanted. I had been following Stuart’s page for a while as was going to buy the glass blowing experience for my husband for Christmas. Sadly not meant to be.
So I knew this would be where I got my piece of jewellery from. The necklace is well made, and the ashes are seen so well without overbearing. Stuart even did 2 different blues to represent our birth stone colours as best as able.
I now have him with me again always.

Ashes Keepsakes

How do I get the ashes to you?

You will need to send us the ashes once you have ordered the memorial. Full instructions can be seen here.

How long does the memorial process take?

Once you have sent us the ashes, we will hand blown the memorial within 5-10 days of receipt of the ashes. We will then ship the memorial via tracked delivery to your designated address.

How much ashes do you need?

We only require a Tablespoon of ashes per order. We only use a small amount, as this produces the best visuals within the glass. Any remaining ashes are returned with your memorial.

How durable are the glass memorials?

We only use the highest quality Barium glass, which we melt ourselves here in our furnace. The glass is extremely durable, however the memorial needs to be treated with respect and care, as damage can happen, as with all glass items.
